Fincas Don Martino specializes in Old-Vine Malbec from their estate vineyard, Viņa Violeta, located in Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. The vineyard is 18.5 acres in size and was planted in 1926. Production size is always limited to the 50,000 bottles produced from this single vineyard. There is a Martino and a Martino Reserve.

Martino is dedicated to vineyard management and winemaking techniques that enhance the subtleties of the prized and noble variety of Malbec, and to producing only high quality wines on a limited volume basis. Their goal is consistently producing great Malbec year after year from their single estate vineyard.

Vibrant violet reds with bluish highlights typify this Argentinian Malbec. Cassis, rasberry, plums, clove and a hint of vanilla create a wonderfully complex nose. A full bodied wine with sweet and harmonius tannins. The prolonged maturation in French oak barrels gives great structure and a complex array of aromas and flavors that add to the wines high quality.
