Kfar Tabor is an agricultural settlement
in the heart of the fertile Galilee. The settlement was
founded over 100 years ago and one of its prime occupations
were vineyards the growing of grapes. Its vineyards soon
became famous as suppliers of quality grapes to the
countries leading wineries.
Kfar Tabor is wine growing country and it
supplied the needs of the countries wineries for a long,
long time. For a hundred years they were the suppliers of
raw materials but since 1999 they are also producing wine of
their own.
Tabor Winery is considered a quality
producer of wines, its wines were enthusiastically received
by the public and by 2005 produced 300,000 bottles of wine a
year of which 40,000 were exported. Its Kosher Cabernet-
Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz
wines are all produced from the best vineyards of Kfar
Tabor.

Tabor Adama
This series of wines awakens the senses,
taking you on a sensual journey to the slopes of Mount Tabor,
characterized by the rare close proximity to chalk, volcanic and
Terra Rosa soils and bubbling natural springs that supply water
for the vineyard. Grown in the soil deemed most-suited, each
variety of grape milks the land for the best it has to offer,
ripening into a dream vintage. Each sip bestows upon the palate
a taste of the morning dew, the basalt firmness, the element of
the chalk and the red tinted soil, creating a unique ‘taste of
Israel’ mosaic of flavors.
 
Adama Cabernet Sauvignon
Terra Rosa Soil
This wine was barrel aged for 12
months in French oak.
Adama is the Hebrew word for soil.
The galilee region is characterized
by the rare close proximity of chalk, clay volcanic and
terra rosa soils.
Each variety of grapes ripens into a
consistent dream vintage. The volcanic density, the
element of chalk, and the red tinted soil creates a
unique taste of Israel.

Adama
Merlot Gir
Dark cherry red toward garnet, this
medium-bodied, lightly oaked wine shows very well on the
palate, opening to reveal dark plums, currants, smooth
tannins and a rich aftertaste on which the flavors
linger nicely.
Medium-bodied, with gentle spicy oak influences and soft
tannins integrating nicely, with raspberry, blackberry,
cassis and light earthy-herbal overtones.
A round,
smooth and near-elegant wine.
Drinking well now.

The name Galil comes from the location of Mount Tabor at
the gateway to the region.
The gentle slopes produce high quality
wines embracing the balance of modern technology and

Garnet towards royal purple,
medium-bodied, with soft, well integrated tannins, a round, easy
to drink wine showing appealing spicy berry and currant fruits.
A very pleasant match to
roast chicken, pasta, pizza or lamb chops. Drink now or in the
next year or so

Galil Cabernet Sauvignon
This red table wine comes from grapes

royal purple in color, with gently mouth-coating tannins
opening to reveal red currant and red berry fruits.
